Dutch Barge, Jonge Freerk….

The time has come to paint the barge, it has been the same colour for over a hundred years, so I thought it was time for a change. I know some will like it, I know some won’t, but hey ho, you can’t please everyone, and it is my turn to be custodian of this fine old ship.

So here is how it looked up to a couple of weeks ago…

First it was time to get rid of all the old paint…

Once all the old paint was off, it was time to rub it all down, and apply the rust proofing, and start the undercoat layers…
